CALL FOR PAPERS
WAIMLAp 2026 invites original contributions related to methods, models, and applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Novel architectures and techniques in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
- AI in Remote Sensing
- AI in Health & Biomedical Applications
- Generative AI
- AI in Smart Cities and Smart Industry
- AI in Robotics
- AI in Social Sciences
- Interpretability and Explainability of AI models
- Applications in computer vision, natural language processing, and complex data analysis
- Spatio-temporal modeling
- Ethical, regulatory, security, computational, and generalization challenges in AI
We welcome original research papers, critical reviews, and applied works (6 to 8 pages, including abstract and references) formatted according to the IEEE style (templates available in Word, LaTeX & Overleaf). Submissions must be written in English and submitted in PDF format.
- All accepted papers will be presented either in oral sessions or poster sessions during the workshop.
- All accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings.
- Publication: The proceedings will be published digitally on the WAIMLAp website. Indexing will be pursued in CEUR Workshop Proceedings (CEUR-WS.org) and/or other Open Access Conference Proceedings platforms.

POSTER SESSION
- The poster session aims to foster the exchange of ideas, constructive feedback, and the visibility of ongoing work, theses, and multidisciplinary projects in Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
- It provides an excellent opportunity for students, early-career researchers, and multidisciplinary teams to present their work and engage with the community.
